Start Your Campaign

Here are some things to consider when starting your campaign:

• Identify the office you would like to run for
• Obtain your EIN
• Pick a Treasurer
• Name Your Committee
• Establish a Candidate and/or Committee Campaign Bank Account
• Register using for Matching Funds using the SCCFB CONTENDER software application
• Attend a SCCFB Training (Mandatory)
• Become a Suffolk County Board of Elections certified ballot candidate with at least one opponent.
